Cut and fold a connection to the sun and time on earth.
Preparation
Use a pair of scissors to cut the lines as indicated.
Fold
Fold the card en push the shadowcaster through the card. It will look as shown below.

Put it in the sun
Put the card in the sun and point it to the North using the line on the card. The straight edge of the shadowcaster indicates the time. The picture below shows the card indicating 11:00.
